Day trip to the Black Forest in Germany

So last Thursday a group of 5 of us assistants hopped a train to visit the Black Forest in the very small city of Triberg, Germany.  This was nestled in the beautiful mountains where we found one of the tallest waterfalls in Germany.

Here I am with my fellow assistants in front of the Wasserfall (German for waterfall).

This area is known for having the largest kookoo clock in the world.  We actually didn't go out to see it because it was several miles away, but here's a store in downtown Triberg that sold touristy koo koo clocks.

Here is a nice look at the town of Triberg from the top of the mountain on our hike up the trail by the waterfall.

Here we are at the top of the mountain!  This was a looooong hike straight up. (pictured below from left to right: Harris from Virginia Beach, Lily from Chicago, Anne from Perth in Australia, and ME)
